Glimpses of Joy: May 2016

This month, I started recording the little glimpses of joy in my everyday life: moments of gratitude, beauty and peace. Here’s how God’s sprinkled grace into my life this month. Isn’t it crazy how it’s often the quiet, simple moments that matter the most? I don’t want to take any of them for granted.

  • Being goofy. NYC!
  • Pizza on the porch.
  • Being taken care of before you even know there’s a problem.
  • Laying on grass in the sunshine with nowhere to be and nothing to do.
  • Laughter on the deck.
  • Wedding day memories.
  • Answered prayers in the nick of time.
  • Turning frustrations to solutions.
  • Being brave and following God’s lead.
  • The Manhattan skyline from a Brooklyn pier.Ocean
  • Drunk actors.
  • The Atlantic ocean.
  • Sitting in Central Park on a sunny day with Air.
  • A good walk and talk.
  • Awe over productivity.
  • A jazzy date with my man.
  • A sunny lunch on a patio.
  • Getting off work early.
  • Finishing Lost.
  • Waking up in a great mood.
  • Discovering a great book.
  • A long weekend with no plans.
  • Rediscovering Red Box.
  • Late Night Neighborhood watch.
  • Brats and Mexican corn.
